Half an hour every night will keep you on top of things, if you get carried away so what! I cut my grass once a week, every couple of days if its been raining, go over the borders and veg patch with a hoe every night, and wander about with secetears every other day, and my gardens immaculate!
The saying "a stitch in time saves nine" fits a garden well

I no longer have a garden and really miss it. I used to spend nearly every evening working in the garden, then sit relaxing and enjoying it at weekends.

I hope all of you have a wonderful summer enjoying the colours, the scent, and the sounds.

I am green with envy!

We're supposed to have a gardener, but I've never seen any evidence of him. It's starting to look like a jungle out there so I'm going to get out and fix it myself this weekend (beats talking to obsequious little two-faced git of a letting agent).

Every day when I can. weeds to weed, water to give, fertilizer too here and there. strawberries to pick, peas to harvest, grass to cut, dead flowers to remove, and smell the still flowering ones.... ah, I love my garden. Oh and throw around some biological anti snail pellets, because they like my strawberries too much...
