That all depends on YOUR comfort level AND the OTHER PERSONS comfort level!
I, for one, dont really have a problem talking to anyone about anything... but then again, Im a psychology student so I am "used" to talking about ALL kinds of things w/ complete strangers!! LOL
I wouldnt talk about my views on "hot topics" with people that might be offended by "my" thoughts... thats just not a necessary "drama" as far as I'm concerned.
I wouldnt talk about my "bodily functions" with members of the opposite sex (except my hubby.. unfortunately for him, he knows EVERYTHING! LOL) My grandma used to talk about her "gas" and IBS ALL the time to ANYONE who would listen... cracked me up b/c MOST people really DONT want to know! LOL
Some of my girlfriends LOVE to talk about sex, positions, size and all that jazz... I for one, like to keep my PERSONAL life PERSONAL! I dont really care to hear the DETAILS of someone else's love life either... but thats thier perogative...however... I ALSO know women who get REALLY uncomfortable when others discuss things like that in front of them!
Like I said, it just depends on YOU and how close you are to the person you want to discuss things with and also what you think THIER limits are!!

I don't discuss anything serious within my marriage (including our sex life) with anyone but my husband. Turns out....everyone has a opinion. And those people willing to give opinions are the ones who are not in a relationship, or have had serial relationships.
Way too personal for me.
I also don't like discussing how much money I make. I'm either really embarassed or talking down to someone. This is personal to me as well.

That depends. I have a friend that I can tell anything to and I can hear anything from them. We're close though...best friends.
The thing that most people dont' like to hear about are things of a sexual nature. If it's at least a little bit...think about who you're talking to before you say that.
Also body functions. Gas, for women 'that time of the month', what you did in the bathroom...
If your parents never talked about it to you then it's probably not something to discuss with others.

It really depends on the comfort level of the people involved in the discussion.
For example, I'll talk about a lot more things with my roommates than I will with my parents.

People can only interpret you, and you can only do so much to appease people. You can never live up to other's expectations, so don't even try.
Just be yourself, and let yourself be! If you mess up, let it go. Others hide, for shame and embarrassment. That is wrong, because we have to make mistakes to become better people.
If you act according to other people's feelings, then you will forever have to do so. No one will let you be yourself when they see that you will reflect what they want. It is a subliminal greed that we must all overcome by being brave.
Speak the truth, even if you're afraid. The truth is what counts, and will forever count.

Nothing, it is the way in which you discuss them that makes it possible if it is a tough subject...
