If the weather is cloudy but warm and humid can we still get a tan or get sunburned?

Yes, because the sun's rays, including UV radiation, penetrate clouds. If none of the Sun's energy was getting through the clouds, every cloudy day would be as dark as night. Humidity and even warmth have little to do with it; you can get sunburnt in the middle of the winter if you expose your body during the day, but it rarely happens because people are highly disinclined to spend time unclothed in the out of doors during the winter.

Absolutely, although humidity has nothing to do with it. There is still UV radiation on a cloudy day, though it is lessened, but one can still tan/be burnt on a cloudy day.

You betcha.

Ultra-Violet (UV) light is what tans or burns our skin. Clouds don't stop all the UV, so you still get the effect.

By the way it doesn't matter if it's warm and humid. The same thing can happen on a cold and dry day.

I like sunny days because you can go to the beach and have fun out in the sun. Cloudy and rainy days, you just got to say in the house . . what a bore. `

Yup.

"Up to 80% UV rays can travel through clouds, fog and haze. UV rays can even travel through glass... so that means that sitting near a sunny window is putting yourself at risk."

Definitely, the ultra-violet rays that cause the skin to tan and or burn do not go away because the clouds are there.
