I am on level 4 right now, I just keep answering questions. One day I will get there to level 7. Just make sure that you give good answers, and getting best answers helps a lot, because you get 10 pts for each one.

It's took me 9 months to get half way there and I seem to have been stuck here for ages, just answer as many questions as possible and don't think about your points, you'll be told when you go up a level.

When you ask questions, it takes away points- GOOD QUESTION- probably very hard- i'm working on level 2

It sure seems that way...and the more questions you answer in an attempt to get "best answer," the more you water down the percentages from overall answers. Guess we should just answer and let it land where it may.
