I see this in some of the more "liberal" questions, too. I mean, these questions are just so redundant and idiotic I have to wonder if it's simply to bait the opposition?

Did these people not get enough attention as children?

Why can't we hold real debates here ABOUT THE ISSUES without delving into this liberal vs. conservative "lets out-do one another" game?

When a poster asks, "Why is Bush considered the worst president ever?" it will inevitably arise argument and debate. Some will agree with the question, others will not. Debate can not be avoided. My point is: it doesn't have to come down to insults and personal jabs at the opposition.

I honestly think a lot of the questions just come from 12 year olds that don't really know much about politics and are just going off their parents opinions. If you want real discussions on issues go to Digg or some other website.

This is not a debating board. We cannot have a discussion only post comments and that is limited. By the way Liberals do a lot of trolling also. Just ignore them is my advice. I find a lot of questions and answers extremely comical.

Y!A isn't really meant for debates, which are a continuing two-way process.

That's actually one of the things I like about it. In a forum, you get long, long threads in which both sides argue back and forth with increasing heat and incoherence. Here, you can just ignore the more hysterical questions.

No, but we do like to set the record straight when people post emotional garbage with nothing to back it up.
