well thats a wives tale you dont catch flu or cold from getting wet (I know there are medical studies to support this). I think if you plan too much like being prepared for weather or are unable to just deal with being wet the view is you arent very masculine.

I never heard of it as being GAY. Most people here in Seattle don't like carrying umbrellas because it's not cool. It's cooler to walk down the street in the rain getting drenched while you sip on your Starbucks Vanilla Latte.

I know what you mean.
I do a lot of gay things like that and listening to gay music and driving a van and hanging out with girls.
I am gay except for the fact that I love women and don't like men.

I don't think it's gay. I carried one all the time in Korea. But here in AZ, We rarely use them due to the rarity of rain. I am sure I would get good use out of one in the Philippines. But I might sometimes purposefully forget it just to get the chance to get real close to my angel while we share hers (-:
