The place to ... I watched GI Joe as a baby and up except I did not see them on tv, after I was older. I did not in finding the message of GI Joe to be "stay and fight except the job is completed" or "GI Joe under no circumstances gives up", per se. That rather wasn't what used to be taught, so much... "Are all liberals extreme pacifists, or is there whatever they're going to battle for?" No, they're no longer all "severe pacifists" and there are things they are going to battle for. Does that justify the USA being in Iraq? No. Is it just liberals that are burning flags and mocking "your country"? Also, do you imply liberals from other countries or do you mean the nation of all of you, liberals and conservatives and every person in between? Is it morally vulnerable and cowardly to now not wish to remain occupying a nation where your presence is definitely now not that welcome? Should liberals have the braveness to occupy countries that don't have democratic governments so as to put a democratic government in position? Who are conservatives fighting for what is right in opposition to, currently? The citizens of Iraq who need them out of their nation? Why did the us invade Iraq? Is China in a position to be invaded for being a communist nation? Is the USA competent to no longer trade with China, ala Cuba? The place is the bravery and where are the lines being drawn?

The only thing it seems that a liberal would fight for is the ruination of America and the undermining of our troops and our way of Life. Just open your eyes and look around. They are doing it every day and because they have the press on their side they are the ones portrayed as "normal"

Actually liberals do fight. Our revolutionary war was fought by mostly liberal thinkers. Liberals fight to keep America free from opression. They prefer a war for a good reason and not a personal vendetta. Many liberals fought in both world wars against tyrany. Today liberals are fighting to keep the planet livable, to make sure no one starves and that we have healthcare for everyone. Liberals are on the forefront of the fights for progress toward a better America for everyone.
Unjust or illegal wars do not merit support but for those who do support them all liberals are saying is put your money where your mouth is. If you are not willing to support the cause than why expect others to do it for you while you sit back and criticize those who disagree with that cause. You can't have it both ways. Another way to interpret what liberals are saying to the supporters of the war is put up or shut up.
It is real easy to say why don't they this or they that. In a democracy it is we this and we that. Dissent is as important as support but be willing to put your self, your fortune and your reputation on the line or shrink back into the woodwork. Those not participating in what they say they believe in are merely cowards posing as heroes. They are, however, easy to see through. They fool only themselves.
It is like the guy who boasts he has 7 of those ribbon magnets on the back of his pick up and expects that that shows he supports the troops. Sending them care packages, springing for a bullet proof vest or demanding he get excellent medical care when he returns all shot up are ways to support him. Stupid ribbon magnets do nothing for him.

Sure, how about for the United States of America? Iraq had nothing to do with 9/11 so why are our troops there? Many liberals fighting over there right now yet you insult our troops? Our troops fight for honor but I wish the government had some.

Love your neighbor" is a biblical mandate and the foundation of the Golden Rule. But the phrase isn't complete without the two words that follow it. The complete verse reads, "You shall love your neighbor as yourself" (Mark 12:31, emphasis added). We're to be vessels for pouring out the Father's love to others. So, we must treat people the way we want to be treated.
Regardless of our actions or feelings, God is completely in love with us. The proof is in John 3:16, "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life." And, He did this while all human beings were still His enemies (Romans 5:8-10). No one is worthy of the sacrifice Christ made. But from God's perspective, we are worth it. If He considers each of us that valuable, then we ought to look at others the same way.
Experiencing God's love should inspire us to love our neighbors and everyone else in our sphere of influence—no matter how difficult that may be. Throughout the four gospels, Jesus repeated the command to His disciples. He knew how often His followers, both then and now, would encounter people who are difficult to love. But, the reality is, we are most like God when we serve others and place their interests above our own.
We will certainly come across some people who seem unlovable. But, the commandment still stands: we're to love them as ourselves. This is a powerful evangelism tool. Few can resist the attraction of a loving friend acting on God's behalf. Think of someone in your life today who needs God's love, and put the Golden Rule into action.

I am a 24-year Army veteran. I served in Operation Desert Storm and OIF 3, with a tour in Bosnia sandwiched in between. Does that meet your standard?
Please realize patriotism and political affiliations are completely separate. I love my country, always have. I just vehemently object to the way it's currently being run. I resent being called a coward because I tend to be liberal versus conservative.

If my country is attacked or threatened then I will defend it. For some reason many cons assume that since neither was the case with Iraq and many liberals and democrats are against the war, that they would never lift a finger to defend this country. That's not just narrow minded thought, it's lack of thought.

Yes, Liberals will happily fight to deny freedom of speech to those people who disagree with them!
They will attack unmercifully to insure that every fetus is destroyed.
They will defend any and all Communist Dictators and other socialists who want to deny freedom to the people.
They will fight to defend the right to lie, cheat, and steal.

first of all i voted for clinton, then nader, then kerry, i'm fairly liberal,, but then again i joined the army,, so yea i reckon i'd be willing to fight for my country, say like in cosovo, or bosnia, heck i'd reenlist if we were going into africa to stop warlords for atrocities against basic humanities, but as for this b.s. dubya oil war i would join the foreighn legion first,, even better i'm from West Virginia, and i'd attempt to make it it's own country first, are you kidding me, i got out just in time, soon as i saw a bush was running for office, ridiculous, here's a point why are "liberals" so much smarter than conservatives, hmmmm we're mostly educated, prosperous, and for the most part vote for presidents that can pronounce nuclear,,, i mean nucular, nuclarization, and are less likely to nuklify our selves
