Personally, I'd rather see the Pistons and the Spurs. I think the Cavs would get blown away by the Spurs in five games or less. I see a Pistons/Spurs series going at least six, if not seven. I'd like to see Billups go up against Parker, Bowen against Prince, Rasheed against Duncan, Ginobili against Hamilton, etc...

I would agree with you, the Spurs are to solid to let one guy win a series. It will take a complete team to be able to beat them.

The Cavs making it to the finals will bring more casual viewers than Detroit would. It would be an amazing story if Lebron led the Cavs to a championship against such a dominant team like the Spurs. I doubt it will happen, but it's the best chance for the NBA to have a finals that's appealing to the general public, not just hardcore basketball fans. Many people want to see Lebron carry the team to a championship to somewhat re-live the magical Jordan era.

Personally, I think the NBA is the hardest to watch of the 4 main sports. However, the Cavs have made me interested in the playoffs again. Watching them rattle the Pistons at home with a huge performance from Lebron was great. I haven't looked forward to a Game 6 of the Eastern Finals in a LONG time. The Cavs are the best thing that could've happened for the NBA after that weak Spurs/Suns series, Golden State's cute underdog story dying, and the lottery sending the top 2 picks to the great abyss known as the upper west coast.

Let's look at the Spurs/Pistons possibility. If the Pistons have trouble containing one player, what will they do against Manu, Tony, and Tim. Now let's look at the Spurs/Cavs. The Piston guards are struggling in scoring, LeBron has a hard time outscoring 2 struggling players so what will he do when he faces a 3 on 1 attack against the Big 3. Plus Bruce Bowen will defend him. Go Spurs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I personally don't care, because I'm a Spurs fan. Whoever the Spurs play, the Spurs will steamroll them. However, I know that everyone (advertisers, NBA head honchos) is creaming in their panties, hoping for a Spurs - Cavs match up. Whatev.

I think either way it would be close, but given the choice between LeBron or Chauncey, I think most neutral NBA fans would choose LeBron. Personally, I don't care either way; my SPURS made it!
