Beach for me...but I hate getting sand in my Mohawk.

Go to the beach, then come home and hang out by the pool,,,I like to have it all!!!!

I actually love both but depending on the beach, I would rather the latter.
the sun, sand, and water sports in the lake can not be beat. and there always is a really good fast food place right there on the beach that makes the best burgers.

Well, I would much rather go to the beach, but I live 2.5 hours from it and our Oregon coast is usually way too cold to swim in, so I spend most of the summer at the pool or at one of the lakes.
