Ok, the whole time that Kobe has been complaining about not having any supporting cast and about how he will never win without another star, LeBron has basically taken charge of this entire series and has won the past 3 games by himself, with little supporting cast (besides Daniel Gibson). He dropped 48 last night and had his teams final 25 points in the double overtime win in Detroit to give his team the 3-2 lead. If he can lead his team into the NBA Finals and maybe, just maybe beat the Spurs (probably not), will anyone ever listen to Kobe complain again? I just want to ask Kobe if he has watched any of the Eastern Confrence Finals games. If he saw any of those 3 games, hed shutup.

I think Kobe doesnt want to work hard to win a title, he wants other Superstars to do it, yet he somehow expects to win MVP.
Who else thinks Kobe should shut up and let us enjoy the LeBron show?

I agree with you..... If anything Kobe has a better supporting cast than Labron. The main difference is James knows how to make people around him play better, Kobe just wants to shoot.........

Lebron's performance was fantastic last night (I'm a Bulls fan). I will also say that Kobe is one of the best in the game and has a more difficult time in the west. The competition is much more difficult and Cleveland will have a very hard time if they make it to the finals against San Antonio. No "one" person will ever win the finals without a supporting cast and Lebron and Co. are still a few players away from taking it all without a lot of luck. Lebron's performance was amazing, but you can't count on that play from him every game. For Kobe to get a good supporting cast he will have to take a pay cut, and I don't see that happening. He's eating up too much money and will have to look inward and stop relying on others to get him a good team.

I wonder why kobe won't restructure his deal in order to bring in a marquee player.

Lakers have no motivation to get anyone. Kobe can demand a trade but cannot force one (atleat not till 2009). Kobe still makes them money and sells merchandise there's no reason for them to spend more money to bring in another big name.

Although lebron is in a weaker conference his domination of the pistons (in the last 3 games) is nothing short of amazing. Kobe had a better supporting cast (shaq fisher fox payton) when he was a non factor against the pistons in 04' finals.

he is too much of an ego-maniac to shut his mouth.. ol' kobe just has to own that spotlight ... it's beautiful though.. because it will only do the lakers wrong, and i can't stand the lakers. you know watching lebron do this is just eating at him. i tell you what.. kobe wouldn't have the ability to bring it on the road, in detroit, slicing though defenders and hammering it home, like Bron did last night. the torch has been passed.
