My best friends 51st birthday is coming up next month and I am so completely burned out of ideas from Christmas, Valentines, Mothers Day and now her birthday. We have always gone way over the top for each other but now im completely out of ideas. I make gift baskets and have done spa baskets, wine/candy baskets, liquor baskets, makeup baskets along with jewelry, purses...you name it. SEE WHAT I MEAN????? Help!

Instead of giving them stuff, try organizing a fun experience instead, like going on a hike, seeing a play, taking a trip etc. The more unusual the better. They will value the fun memories much more than items that lay around the house. Don't forget to bring a camera!

I'd throw her a surprise birthday party inviting folks that she hasn't seen in years....maybe a scavenger hunt for a goofy gift for her??It is hard to tell you what to get her as you haven't told us about her...flowers delivered every month for a year would be nice as well as the deserts once a month for a year too

Since she has so much why not consider making a donation to a charity in her name. Seems like she doesn't need a thing, it's time to give back some.

Get her a gift certificate to a place where she can get some work done on her house (maybe something she's been talking about). Get her the newest gadget, like a Iphone or something. Get her a puppy. Pajamas are also really nice. Lastly, get her something with Diamonds in it. She will always appreciate that.

Instead of making a spa basket go to spa with each other then to a hotel with your husbands abd eat dinner go swimming and why u are at the spa your husbands can go to some type of barber for the big night.

is a gift card too impersonal? I always love gift cards to book stores, music stores, movie stores, Amazon.com or Bed Bath & Beyond! You could also get her a gift certificate to get a massage!
