We are seriously going to spend billions of dollars to send a human up there, when a little probe could do a better job, and its expendable. Why waste all this money?!?! Why not do something useful and use it for the production of solar panels to be more efficient or hybrids to get better gas mileage?!?!? Our government is so stupid >.<

Well we are going to the moon again because we want to find a way to populate it (maybe by using silicone covers on the craters). Also the moon is rich in certain metals which can benefit the industry greatly. It can also help us gather more info on living in space for over a month, so that we can prepare even more for the planned trip to mars. Also once the Earth is over populated we will have to waste money to feed the people and shelter them.
