Yes!!! I had hair down to my butt, and asked a "beautician" to put another layer in it. She put the layer at my jaw bone and it was cut stright back about 4 inches on both sides.I wasn't facing the mirror so I couldn't see, but it was a well known, and popular beauty salon, that I always went to for my trims.. There was no way of repairing it...I had to cut it short to my frickin jaw bone. I had her fired....She is no longer a beautician there.

I asked her not to cut it where she was getting ready to cut it(i felt the scissors)and she did...Her boss was not happy. I didn't have to pay for that hair-desaster, and she offered me 2 years of free haircuts from her (the owner). Now I get free trims...

I went through the crying process, and the hot, pissed off, ready to kill process, but I'm ok now...A woman's hair is nothing to mess with. Especially if it was that long & NOT at all what you asked for!!!

Good luck to you & your transition....I know...It susks...but it will grow back.

My best friend trimmed my hair and cut bangs for me. My hair was originally middle of my back with no bangs, all one length. When I was done, it was shoulder length and my bangs were in the middle of my forehead. I looked like a page boy from the 1300's. I am a girl I might add.

Apparently she thought she was doing fine and then realized how it was going but had to cover up spots. She felt really bad when she saw my face, cause when I saw myself, I almost passed out. I tried to make her feel better by telling her I needed to cut is short to thicken it and such, but after awhile I just burst into tears. Then she got mad.

I really don't remember how I fixed it but I think I managed to create some sort of do and get by until it grew out.

It's about how secure and how is your self-stem, if you are secure about who you are a bad haircut it's no obstacle to keep things going normal!

I have a bad haircut 3 years ago and the point the barber cut me wrong was the point near the ears, I looked like asymmetric, awful of course!

So the best way to deal with is with a positive mental attitude!

yes and I made sure the lady who cut it knew all about it. I would have told her before she did it but I couldn't see my own reflections without my glasses.

After she tried to tell me it was fine (yeah right) I went straight for her boss and informed him I was not satisfied at all. He apologized and said they would appreciate my business in the future.

I walked out with a free (but extremely bad) $20 haircut.

ooh yes! well basically just keep the postitive thought in mind that hair will grow back. In the meantime try doing something cute with it in any way possible. Comb or toss it up in a flattering way. If its long the classic pony tail or messy bun might do..or maybe try scrunching it if you think it looks alright that way. If it shorter see if theres anywhere you can part it for flip it or even curl it until it starts to grow back. Dont worry..fair grows back!! Take Care! :)

Every single time now. I go to a Vietnimese lady for $3.99 and let her demolish it.
When I was younger I used to have mine razor cut and styled every 10 days at $12.00 a pop.
I got one real bad hair cut when I was 21 and got so mad they called the cops.

Yeah, a couple of weeks ago. All I can do it wait for it to grow out. No since being upset about it, it's a done deal and it will grow back.

I went across the street and went to a little privately owned and run by a father and son barber shop and had them take care of it. I've been going there ever since.

Nope. I've gotten haircuts I thought I hated at first, but they grew on me.

yep, all I could do is let it grow out and keep trimming the parts that grow in too long

If I'm going to make a mistake a bad hair cut is the best one to make
the good thing about hair is that it WILL grow out and you don't have to do much about it
