My boyfriend and I are in a longdistance relationship, I am 15. He recently went to the doctors and found out he has to go into surgery (About something very serious... but I don't want to get too personal) and I need to be there, for him. My mom is reluctant to let me go. Please, I just need to be there for him in this difficult time. Have any suggestions of what to say that might convince her to let me go? I would have to take a plane to get to him. Thank you so much,

-Hope

Tell her you'll pay for the trip. Have his parents talk to yours and tell them they will make sure your okay.

Ask her if she would support you in the same way if it were you in hospital.. you care for him and want to be there. do not make it more complicated than it is. just tell her you want to be there and if there is any way she will allow it you'll take it. maybe mom should go with you if she's worried about the trip? hope she lets you go. helping eachother out is compassion, and compassion is rare in this world. :-)
