as in go and participate or to watch? You dont have to sign up to watch. Now if you want to participate you might want to wait for your phone to ring, cuz u must be invited!

You don't, it is by invitation. However, some teams, some years (not every year) do have open tryouts. I suggest you call or e-mail a team you are interested in and see if they are planning to have an open tryout. It is much rarer now than what it used to be.

1) contact the director of player personnel for the NFL
2) ask for a list of teams having open tryouts
3) Get letters or references from at least three coaches as to your ability and commitment
4) Have DVD or Video tape of any games you play along with stats
5) Pray

you asking that tells me that you're not good enough to participate....
honestly.....that would be an inviation only kinda thing.....
as in, if you're anywhere near good enough, they know about you already and will invite you.....
if you're going to watch.....I don't see why you'd have to sign up
open tryouts are another deal all together, as people below will mention.
