No. The multi-millionaires who were my real parents never realised that I had been swopped at birth and so didn't come back to claim me as their own. Never mind!

No, seriously I thought I would fail completely at adulthood because as a teenager I seemed to have nothing about me that made me employable and was, besides this, over-emotional/ aggressive in nature. I was very needy, very immature, a social misfit and regarded myself as a total headcase: specifically I thought I had schizophrenia and didn't get reassurance that I hadn't until seeing a psychiatrist age 21. Now I'm 34 and anxiety means I have to place limits on my stress levels but I'm a highly employable, very well thought of, quite experienced chef and I'm doing just fine. I take a lot of pleasure from my life and wouldn't give it up for anything. Right now I'm counteracting the anxiety by taking better care of my health and have just cut out alcohol and caffeine from my diet. (MONIKA: It's Ok! I stuffed up A'levels and a lot of people I know never even took them. You'll find that vocational qualifications are a lot easier to get to grips with because they've more relevance to real life and you can see the advantage of them. It'll work out for you in the end.x.)

NO!! I'm 35 years old, never married, and no children. When I was younger I thought by the time I was 35 I'd be married and a stay- at- home mom with 3-4 kids. If you told me when I was younger that I'd be a dental hygienist I'd have laughed at you, but I love what I do.

Im almost 23. I always thought I'd be married by now. Or almost married and out of college.
Neither has happened. I have a great boyfriend of 2 years and we'll probably get married sooner or later.. but we're in no rush.
I will graduate next spring so that's almost set too.
In a year and a half to two years my life WILL be what I imagined. (Provided I dont get in a serious car accident and lose a limb, or die.) ... Lets keep our fingers crossed. ;)

No - I don't have a personalised robot, I don't have a space ship, I have not taken part in any Galactic Wars, I have not gained any Super Powers, my bank acount has £ instead of Gold credits, I have not used a teleporter nor am I married to a stunning Alien wench with green skin.

On the plus side, though, Mars Bars HAVE gotten bigger.

When I was younger, I was always being put in time-out in some corner. Now I work in an office cubicle. So, to answer your question - life is exactly the same.

No where near. But where I am and who I'm with is far better than I could have ever imagined.

Yes, pretty much; I've always wanted to be an English teacher and so I have. Moreover, I've always wanted to have friends and so I have. I had always thought that I wouldn't have to worry about my love life at 24 though (sigh).
