Society's fault, Bush's fault. (aka, no concept of individual liberty and personal responsibility)

You know, I keep hearing this claptrap from the cons, but I don't personally know any liberal who is suffering from underachievement or poor life decisions. Maybe it's the crowd I run in, but the liberals I know have excellent high paying jobs, beautiful homes and children who are excelling in school. They certainly don't need rescuing.

I do have a neighbor that has Bush bumper stickers plastered all over his 15 year old truck. He never mows his damn lawn and it irritates everyone in the neighborhood. He came to the summer block party last year and railed on about liberals and "commies" for so long that he bored even the conservatives in attendence. Good thing I don't judge all cons by this guy. I'd have to conclude they are all lazy whiners.

Because we worship the ground that you repubs walk on. We wish we could live in the happy fantasy land that you create - one where nuance doesn't matter.

One where the death penalty stops murder.

One where anti-choice legislation stops unwanted pregnancies.

One where war turns enemies into compliant oil selling toadies.

One where lower taxes on the people who have a lot of money produce better schools and roads.

One where focusing on getting rid of the immigrants makes us all forget about the war, the economy, gas prices, and global warming.

Joining the repubs is like a life-long trip to Disney. Only believe what they tell you to believe, and pay no attention to the realities that lie on the other side of the wall. We want you to rescue us because we wish we could cast off the shackles of truth and just drink the kool-aid like you have.

I am liberal and attended a top 10 business school with a household income well into 6 figures. I am not looking for anyone to save me from poor life decisions, only, that people in need be given a chance to succeed.

Liberals are the most successful overacheivers in the world.

Maybe you should ask poor red staters who have nothing but talk radio hate and religion as the excuses for their pathetic lives.

They are insecure, they need that security blanket. There are those in life who legitimatly need help, but conservatives prefer to privately donate more to those in need than liberals, without a government program to absorb money. There are lots of people receiving aid who shouldn't be.

Not everyone is born into a family that can afford all the nice things in life, like your spoiled little *** can. You are extremely shallow and don't understand what it's like to be one of the less fortunate. I suppose you think everyone is just able to get a high paying job too. I wish morons like yourself would just disappear.
