Funny....you selected two extremely important insects for this question. Ladybugs are nature's way of cleaning up other harmful insects. They may be cute little things, but they'll eat the bad guys who mess with your plants and flowers. Butterflies are a sign that the environment is healthy. They are fragile and respond to negative impacts in the environment first. The slightest change in pesticides or harvesting practices will cause them to disappear in an area. I lived in Louisiana for about 15 years and seldom saw them...they flourish here in Northeastern Arkansas. They make me feel at ease when I see them. Answer: no..they don't "bug" me.
