Not permanent. It's a pigmentation reaction to the sun and your skin will repair itself. It will fade in a month or two depending upon your skins healing capabilities. Only time will tell. The only way to KEEP a suntan is to keep exposing yourself to the sun a little bit. If you are sunburn, it will go away in a day to 4 or 5 days, depending upon the severity and then your sunburn skin turns brown and peels off to reaveal fresh healthy skin underneath.

Please tell me you're not serious?

In any case...No.

A tan is simply a self-defence mechanism whereby the body releases melanin to protect itself from UV radiation. The deeper the tan, the deeper into the skin the tan goes. The deeper into the skin, the longer it will take for the tan to fade as your body naturally expells the layers of skin.

Generally, the tan will fade over a couple of weeks if you avoid all UV/sunlight. The only way to speed it up is with an exfoliant, and that has some risks.

Its no longer a difficulty..except you have those spots (large or small) that are slightly darker than your skin than you ought to stay removed from the solar..I hear too lots of those would reason a sort of maximum cancers..yet than lower back you will have spend your self common for that to take place..which i think of isn't likely...(all of us is going interior the domicile each commonly)..I recommend you may desire to placed on a hat or conceal your self with a towel..or clothing too....I style have that too..my skin have been given darker as I have been given older..(17 right here and that i used to be easy)...I recommend in case you certainly need to do away with it..you may get this style of sponge ( i think of its called a Luffa) that peels skin (after all a tan is skin that technically dried/died)..(for this reason why some human beings peel off while they get a solar tan) ...except you're skin is pink each and all of the time or it has rashes or some thing (which you desire a doctor for that) like I pronounced its no problem..once you're somewhat uncertain verify the typical practitioner (or a dermatologist) approximately it :) wish this facilitates!!!

Nope, a tan is the bodies way of trying to protect itself from sun exposure.
If you have a tan then you have damaged your skin, that in essence is what a tan is.
When it replaces itself with your correct colour skin then that is healthy skin again.

There is no such thing as a healthy tan.

It will go in a month or so and the only thing you can do to prevent it is to keep tanning.

Skin cancer is pretty permanent though.

when the skin tans it is reflective of a defense measure by the body. If you tan frequently, the damage is permanent and the tan will not fade....however, if you protect yourself from further damage and you have not already exceeded your skin's ability to repair itself, the tan will fade over the course of a number of months.
