I never watch it but I happened to have it on while was working and I wondered the same thing. How horrible for those girls. You can only imagine what type of emotional nightmares they will have for the rest of her life. No wonder some people are the way they are and you can be sure there are more out there.

Whatever the reasons, the mother realized that she couldn't be a mother at that time in her life. Apparently she moved on and started another family, which I felt she shouldn't have done.
It was clear to me that the mother didn't look or try very hard to communicate with her children. Thank goodness they had a father that could step up and take care of them.

That goes to prove that people need to have a license in order to bring children into this world. You should be evaluted as to your mental and financial stability before having children (ergo: having a license).

Have a lovely rest of the day.

I think its better that she left rather than by staying and screwing them up more. I think some woman aren't meant to be mothers, they don't ever feel that connection which is really a shame. I think the girls were better off without her.
