After being parked that long it may need a full tune up, and the fuel injection system will need servicing

Could be fuel related but it sounds like the alternator isn't recharging the battery which is why it won't crank and runs poorly--low voltage....could be a combination of both fuel and electrical. Check the alternator output at a parts store...should be 14.5 volts and have the battery charged and load tested. Fuel problem might be corrected with fresh gas, a can of gas stabilizer and a new fuel filter. Run some injector cleaner through the system also. And have the fuel pressure tested if the problem persists.

I will have to agree with Audicoupefreak. There is most likely something associated with the collision that is causing this problem. That vehicle isnt that old and sitting for a few months won't make the wires or plugs go bad or the fuel. I would demand that the vehicle be re-checked if not by the shop that made the repairs, then another shop. If this was done thru an insurance company call them and tell them the car was not fixed properly and you need it done RIGHT ! If it is not done thru insurance, locate a shop that specializes in electrical repairs since this problem definately sounds electrical.

Not a lot of info. If it was parked for a long time..say 6 months then you may well have a bad fuel problem. Also you do not fix a fuel filter. You replace it. That is a no brainer and is worth the effort. It is not something that you can easily diagnose. If it has a carburator then there is most likely a fuel filter at the fuel inlet tube. The list of possiblities is long but it seems best to prioritise on the fuel system with the symptoms.

It sounds like something electrical from the accident is causing your problem. Something that the body shop didnt fix right. you have a 95. it is a fairly new car. it should run great even after sitting for 2 months. I've started cars after a year of sitting and they ran great. I would take it back to the body shop and tell them that it isnt fixed right and get your insurance company involved. It sounds like the body shop just doesnt want to take the time to do the job right.
