that one of your friends was going to throw his life away by smoking pot and go out with a girl that looks like a fish (the way her eyes pop out is creepy) when he can do alot better. What would you do and say?

I'd point out to them the error in in ways. Maybe you could buy him a fishing pole?

.I say that because, your friend cannot help who he is attracted to...even if it is Fish Girl....that's just his taste(s).
.Also all you really can do is express your concerns to him about how you feel he's throwing his life away and making poor decisions.
.You cannot make him think or act differently, no matter how many times you tell him what he's doing is wrong.
.So basically, until he totally crashes and burns from his own bad choices....he won't get it. And sometimes even then people still don't see the "light" and figure it out.
.~Anyways, you sound like you are a good friend to him, and that you are pretty concerned about his well being and his life in general. That's great and there is nothing wrong with it.
.Although you might want to stick to your own agenda though, and sure you can give him advice and express your concerns...and whether or not he chooses to listen and/or accept what you've told him, well that is his choice. And that is all you can do for him as his friend.
.Let him make his own mistakes and learn from them, it's just like learning to ride a bike......(bad analogy...I know) but you get what I'm saying?

You should try and accept people for who they are. You're sounding quite shallow....plus a tad jealous, perhaps?
As a friend you should definitely voice your opinion on the pot smoking...but as for the girl - if your only reason is her "fish eyes", you need to get over it. If she makes him happy...then you should be happy for him.

id wait till he was stoned and write all over his body ... imma dumbas$ who is dating a fish ... lol
then when he sobers up tell him he did it and that he told me he really didnt like her and that he wanted to break up w/ her ... the convince him to do so ... then try to tackle teh whole pot smoking thing ...
my b/f before he was w/ me and once after we were together smoked pot, i really dont care as long as like he stays in his room or stays somewhere ... e.g. no driving, walking, being active ... lol ... but when i found out he drove home from work stoned ... (its only like 5 blocks) but i nearly had a kiniptionfit ... i was like WHAT? how could you just drive home stoned ... do you not care about what it would do to us who love you if something happend? ... he said that he never thought of it that way and hasn't done it to my knowledge since ... but he has smoked it at a friends house and stayed planted on the floor ... prolly cause while he was gettin stoned his friends ductaped him to the floor ... it was funny ... they took pics of it ... man ... lol
just tell ur friend how you feel and that you only say these things cause you really care about his wellbeing ... and such

That is what a friend is there for, to voice his opinion, and see if their friend will listen! Tell him, and make sure he doesn't smoke pot!

try setting an example, an show him that its not ok for you to hang out with him with all his bad habits. if he really likes to hang out with you, he better stop it. One more effective way is to tell him to his parents,,, i know they might call you a snitch but believe me ur conscience will be clear and ur friend's parents will thank you for it. with the GF i guess if he stops all his bad habits he will see clearly that his dating a fish.

the looks of his gf should not conceren you but I would talk to him about his pot habbit. people think that will not effect their lives but that is unture. Ask him to seek help

If you are concerned about the dope side of this, you are smart! if he is a friend of yours by his choice, he is smart! Tell him how you feel and you will both realise who the dumb one is! find him a pretty piece of fluff first.
