This is in the inside of a burger van its only 2 years old so don't want to paint it if I can avoid it

Funny how grease can build up over a period of time. You can try the Mean Green Super Cleaner but I doubt you will get the color back. the good news is all the grease build up will be gone.

Clean it with ammonia and water. Rinse well. You may end up having yellowish walls, but the grease will be gone.

why would you paint the walls of this "burger van" you speak of white?

Try using a solution of warm water, dawn dishsoap and TSP.

Try rubbing down with a de-greaser. :)
