i have highlights that are growing out... i would like to get them re-done, but i can't afford it right now. Do you think it looks terrible when women do this?

Depends on how heavily it's highlighted, lol. You can get a kit at WalMart that lets you do the touch-up yourself, costs about $10. If it's bad enough people yell skuuuuuunk! when you come around, I'd go get a kit and do it myself!

From a guys point of view? I prefer women who keep their natural hair color. That way you dont have to make expensive commitments, not to mention that you look so much better with your natural color.
