I don't like watermelon but I do like salt. I may try that and see if it would improve the taste for me.

I have never quite understood why people do that. My parents both put salt on watermelon. That's sorta like drinking iced coffee.

Can't say I've ever tries salt on watermelon, but I like salt on mango and pineapple. (It's my mom's fault)

but my husband and his family eat in with salt & pepper.
reason being, in India the watermelon is not sweet like here-
so they use it for taste
I thought it was strange but the melons there eally don't have any taste

I sure do, and on the orange and green mellons too. I cant stand to eat the orange and green without salt.
