The largest store of Nitrogen is found in air where it is mainly found as N2. The Nitrogen cycle is the process by which Nitrogen from the atmosphere is used by living organisms and is used to produce amino acids, proteins and nucleic acids.
The atmospheric store of nitrogen is about 1 million times larger than the store contained in living organisms and orgainc matter in the soil and oceans.

The atmosphere is way bigger than a tree. Trees are maybe 100 feet tall, but the atmosphere is like a thousand miles tall. Marine organisms are mostly fish and seaweed, and the atmosphere is much bigger even than a large piece of seaweed. Soil is mostly made out of dirt, not nitrogen. Nitrogen is used to make nitrous oxide, which is laughing gas, and also can make nitrous-powered funnycars go vroooooom.
