When a cat presents you with a mouse he caught, that is a great honor.

Give him lots of love and then escort him and the mouse coprse outside, so he can enjoy his "picnic."

And yes, if the pet lion thought highly enough of you, he might bring you a dead wildebeest...

...however, being that he would be a big powerful lion, and you would be a mere human being... it would be more likely that he'd present YOUR dead body to another esteemed member of the pride....

The best way is as suggested above, take away the cat flap (maybe replace the flap with one in the side of your shed or similar to give her somewhere dry to go when it rains though!). This way you can monitor the comings and goings and police her present giving activities. This will mean a lot mroe tooing and foring for you, but if you love your cat as much as I do this would be the option to go for, even if it did mean a bit more exercise on my part. I simply couldn't get rid of my cat, it would break my heart. Also, the bell is a very good idea, but equally won't prevent all her trophies! She loves you and wants you to know it and be prous of her! Keeping her in permanently if she has been and outdoor cat would simply be cruel and may leave her depressed. You might think I am mad, but cats are sensitive creatures. How would you feel if somone suddenly locked you in a house and wouldn't let you go out and have the freedom you used to?

The cat loves you - it's bringing it's kill as a token of affection. As for the lion question....lion's are not suitable pets but I suppose that if you did have a lion that it might do the same thing.

No...because it would probably eat you instead. That's a house cat thing any way. If they really like you, some cats will go out and hunt and bring back whatever they catch for you like a gift.

If I were you and had a pet lion, I would hope it would bring something, I wouldn't want it to get hungry!

Sounds reasonable. My cat Mr. Hobo Cat brings in live mice, rats and one time a live snake. lol

I'm guessing so or any kind of carcass.
My cats bring lizards in the house.

chances are, yep. wouldn't that be a fun way to wake up?

Little trivia: Cats bring us presents because they think we're too stupid to hunt for ourselves. LOL

It`s just trying to teach its simpleminded child(you)how to hunt and be a proper cat.

It might. The cat is just bringing you a gift and you should reward them.
