The clock may be on, but the heater is off. Technically as long as even a pilot lamp is on, we are using some small quantity of energy. But the main energy consumption is only when the table is rotating and the heater (magnetron) is on.

Well, whatever is BLINKING is on. (is it the timer or the clock?) But the microwave unit itself isn't on. Anything blinking is using a bit of energy, but probably not very much.

I'm not sure exactly what you mean but...anything that is plugged in is using a little bit of power. Even a phone charger w/o the phone...toasters....everything.

Yeah, but blinkers don't use much energy. Probably a couple milliwatts.

yep, but it may be small because if the nuker isn't on, the magnitron is off which is the power hog.
