Do we really need them anymore what with the internet and 24 hour TV broadcasts?

TV and the internet only give you a brief summary of what's going on. To be well informed you need to read newspapers. They will give you an in depth analysis of the news. The more informed you are, the better citizen you will be. Now that we are going into an election, we need all the information we can get.

well yes, not evry1 has internet and it is a good source to find job listings and coupons, it also shows the latest for those who fancy the serene reading time instead of the loud t.v or dealing wit the internet that has thousands of links to 1 story that may not even b true and sometimes the best story heads are in the newspaper not only on the t.v news, it serves the latest for mostly every thing sports, epidemics, celebrity stories, obituary, coupon sections and sale paper also on anything thats interesting o ya and posting for any kinda job. its easy to get one. i doubt the newspaper business will ever get off of the shelves.

I enjoy reading the paper. You find out a lot more about what is going on in your community in the paper.

I do... I use them to clean glass and mirrors and put at the bottom of the litter box and pack things away w/ them, put them down before the kids paint.....I need them....

They still have their usefulness. They will never go away, just won't have the circulation they did 30 years ago.

They do tend to give a more in depth story I think.
They're also great for cleaning windows!
