I praticipate in an online virtual roleplay download known as Furcadia. In which you may play and animal (example: Lupine (wolf), Feline(cat), Equine(horse), Boulvine(cow or bull), Musteline (mouse) ect.) In some of the members profiles they use say that their character is Esterus. I didn't want to ask for fear of coming off as a noob. What exactly does the term "esterus" mean? I think is is something related to animals.

That's the same thing as when a female animal is "in heat." Almost all female placental mammals experience an estrous cycle rather than the menstrual cycle of human and great ape females. The estrus phase (Note that "estrous" and "estrus" are separate words.) is when the female is fertile and typically exhibits mating behavior. So if a female is in estrus, she's particularly yiffable.

it is actually called "Estrus" and means being in heat.

For the character, that may mean that they are receptive to 'romantic' encounters or willing to engage in creating offspring...
