I don't think they are black widows, generally you don't find black widows just running around, they prefer dark, out of the way places. They have an hourglass marking on their underside, so unless they're upside down, you wouldn't see the red marking...they would just look shiny and black.

No black widow spiders are black and have a red hour glass shape under the belly.

Black widow spiders are very dangerous and with one bite can kill with a couple of seconds. Even though they are small they hurt and you will soon be on the floor dead, so the best thing to do is either leave it alone and let it do what it wants, it might go away once the baby is born and just don't open your window or you call an expert on spiders and see if he/ she can clear it. They are more dangerous than a camel spider ( they bite you, your paralysed and they eat your skin).

A black widow is shiny, black and hairless w/red hourglass on stomach. However,a small black spider with red back in California bit me.It was a jumping spider. They were in the grass,on fences and houses and they do bite! it made me sick for a few days with severe headache, muscle pain all over(even my tongue and eyes)then the bite became painful and was itchy.I found the little devil in my bed where it aparently bit me.Oh,and jumping spiders are about the size of a dime to a nickel and move quickly!

Black Widows have a very pronounced round black body and a 'violen' shape on its under belly. If the red in on the back then that is not a black widow. I would still look up what your spider could still be poisoness

No. A black widow has no markings on its back. It has a round shiny black abdomen and a red mark on the underside, which you don't usually get to see.
Where I live everybody has black widows; they are very mild mannered, but I prefer they don't come in the house.

Acually, it COULD be-in some subspecies of Black Widow, the markings can vary quite a bit from the classic "hourglass". This is especially true of the Northern Black Widow(Latrodactus mactans variolus) and those found in Australia. The link below has some pictures of different L. mactans variolus specimens, some of which meet your description quite well.

No, Black Widows have a red hour glass underneath them, not on their backs.

Is the red streak in an hourglass type shape? If so then most likely the are black widows.

Edit: You learn something every day.
