My doc told me it was just my pelvis spreading. But I am beginning to doubt it. It has been happening for about a month now and everytime I sit up or stand up I want to pass out from the pain. Has this happened to anyone? If its not my pelvis what could it be? This is my 2nd child and I didnt feel this at all with my first, I would have thought my pelvis was already spread from my first.

well i don't know what the first person said because that answer is no longer there but yes its happened to me. It happened with my first too but its worse with this one. can you feel her move still?? If you cant feel her move you need to go in!! Do you get a sharp shooting pain up hmm well your back side( goes up your butt more or less) I'm getting the same thing cramping way down there sharp shooting pains "back there" and pressure up front. Also are you dilated yet? if you get to concerened you can always go to the hospital and they will check you and run a test to see if your at risk for premature labor. They had to stop mine with my first and it started out like this. But in any case good luck!! i feel for you because i know exactly what your going through
I am planning on going in just to make sure if mine doesnt change but you follow your instincts.
feel free to email or im me if you need to talk

I agree, DON'T listen to that first question. The doctor is right, but it might be that your baby is laying low and down on your pelvis. My 3 desided they would position themself against my spine. I had to take physical therapy during and after just to walk my back hurt so bad! Suggest to you doctor that you want an ultrasound done to check that the baby is fine and to see if the baby has "planted" itself by your pelvic bone. If the doctor doesn't want to do that then GET ANOTHER DOCTOR! A good doctor will explore and make sure things are fine and double check it they or you are unsure.

Good luck, but if I was you, I would be getting myself another doctor! Especially if this is your second baby and you are getting that much pain!

Sigh... ignore the idiot.

Its narmal, and yes, it gets worse with the 2nd pregnancy. Try to get up slower, and maybe find a pre-natal yoga class, they can help you with stretches to loosen up the pelvis so it is less painful.

I would suggest you see your doctor again and ask for blood tests to be done the pain could be cause by an infection.

Also the guy who gave first answer you have been reported!

I would see your doctor. I had that same symptom with kidney stones. That was the first sign, then horrific pain in my side, then the inability to pee. It wouldn't hurt to have your doctor tell you for sure.

each pregnancy is actually harder than the first..your muscles aren't as tight and aren't holding the uterus up as much, so theres a LOT more pressure...I'm 38 weeks with our fourth and I can hardly walk it hurts so much...so just hang in there!!!
