i am 17 weeks pregnant and i've just done my scan the doctor says everything is ok and i also listened to my baby's heart beat but i just want to know when will my baby start to move?
pls.help

If this is your first time you could feel the baby anywhere from 16 to 23 weeks. It could be a little sooner or a little later...it all depends. Look for those fluttering, gassey feelings and that is probably your baby. I felt my son between 15 and 16 weeks and it felt like someone rubbing their finger on the inside like a tickling feeling. Congrats on the baby!

Your baby is already moving, but you may just not be realizing that you are feeling the baby, not gas or a rumbling tummy. Most women feel their babies move between 18 and 20 weeks. Don't worry, you'll be feeling that little blessing wiggle and kick around before you know it!

well im also 17 weeks with my first baby and i felt the baby at 15 weeks because im very slender , you could be mistaking it for gas or it may be too tiny to feel it move most first time mothers feel there baby at 18-20 weeks so no worrys , you'll feel it soon....Congrats by the way !

Look for something that feels like bubbles. It's really soft so you need to be looking for it. Try going to a quite place and laying down and just take note of what you are feeling soon you will feel something a few times and know. Good Luck

The baby has already started to move. Sometimes you don't feel them until your 6 or 7 months preg. Sometimes sooner if you've had other babies. Believe me you will feel it! Interesting thing though, if you have felt like you have "butterflies" in you stomach, its the baby moving!

the latest is around 23 weeks. Don't worry if haven't notice any movements yet. Maybe it does move but you're just too busy to notice it. Sometimes the baby make the slightest movements that you can barely feel unless you pay attention to it.

your baby has been moving all along, he's just too small for you to feel it. You will feel it very soon, within a few weeks. Try laying down on you back and relaxing, he may be easier to feel then.

usually around the 20 - 22 week mark, but if it's your first bubby, maybe a little longer.
Don't rush, enjoy every moment. The first kick will be worth waiting for :-)
