Well, the whole point of career day is to inform students about various careers, so they can get an idea of what they might be interested in doing with their lives. So you talk about what kind of skills, education and training is required for the job; what your daily duties are; what the prospects for employment are in that particular field (is it so popular that jobs are hard to find? or is there a great need for people to go into that kind of job?); what kind of salary can you expect to start with and what can you expect to earn after you've gained some experience; who (what kind of companies) hire people trained for that job.; is a license required?; is continuing education necessary to keep up with advancements in the field (as in medicine, law, technology, etc.); are computer skills required. And so on.

She can start out my talking about what she does and what steps it takes to become whatever she is. She could also bring visual aids if that applies to her career field. Also, she should consider the age of the group she is speaking to. If it is a group of seniors getting ready to graduate, she could talk about the outlook for jobs in the career field.
