Circumventing Internet access control systems with web proxies to access unauthorized web sites is a violation of school computer usage policy. You can get suspended and/or banned from using school computers when you get caught. Use school computers for school work and myspace will be there when you get home. Do you really want your teachers and school administrators knowing what you are posting on myspace anyway?

Your school officials are smarter then you might think. They weren't born yesterday..You'll be hard pressed to find one that hasn't been blocked already. School is for learning. Use myspace when you get home AFTER school.

Also, if your school didn't have myspace blocked, when ever a class had to be in the computer lab for actual work, they probably wouldn't be able to do it, because the network would be so bogged down by loading the myspace pages which take up mass amounts of bandwith.

There's a good chance you school computers are keylogged, so that the administrator can see anything and everything you type on that machine. I know my school's computers were. I'm certain of this because once I was on a machine that faced the wall on a forums site, and no one was standing behind me the whole time, and the librarian came over and told me the computers were for school work.

It sounds like your school is blocking this site (and probably others).

You are at school to learn, not to play with the internet, so blocking is done because students are playing with the internet rather than learning.

If access were permitted you and your class mates would be consuming so much bandwidth that they could not get usefull work done with the internet connection.

Many sites appear innocent but are not. If predators are able to communicate with students at school there is a liability problem and they would be neglegant if they did not block certain sites.

Here is what you should do

1. Study very hard and graduate with honors.
2. Get into a highly respected college that has a great Computer Science Department. Because you graduated with high honors, you will get a scholarship.
3. Graduate with high honors with a BS degree in Computer Science
4. Go to graduate school in computer science and obtain a Ph D in Computer Science. You will get a fellowship to cover your fees and pay you a salary because of your undergraduate academic record.
5. Start your own IT company; make and market Web Site Blocking devices. You will make a good living and will protect the youth. You will also know how to get around blockers but you won't tell others how.

Circumventing the blocks are probably in contravention of your school's/company's/usage policies and would not be a good idea, resulting in banning, suspension or expulsion. The fact that you have to ask how to do it leads me to believe that you do not have the technical skill to avoid being detected.

If you want to access stuff like YouTube or MySpace, be aware that the more bandwidth you are using, the more you are taking away from other legitimate users of that system.

The sites have probably been blocked for a very good reason. If you're accessing from a public space, i.e. school, library, college, or other public access point, you should ask the administrators why they have blocked those sites. Put your case as to why you should have access, but be prepared for a firm 'no'.

You can unblock Myspace with a web proxy. Here is one of them. It is brand new and it works great.

If all of the proxies that you are trying to use are blocked its because eventually the admins catch up and block them. To avoid this simply use a new proxy. To get the latest list of new, working proxies you can check out the Freedom Network:
http://www.freedomnetwork.info

The Freedom Network also has a newsletter called Proxy Blast. It mails you brand new proxies straight to your email every week. You can sign up for the newsletter here:

If you like these proxies make sure to tell your friends about them and share them on your Myspace page or blog so others can enjoy them.

Have Fun!

There is a good reason these bandwidth hogs are blocked. Speaking from the perspective of a former CC employee, sites that hog all the campus bandwidth make it harder for people who actually work or study. Be kind to others, remember that your computer use has an affect on other people's career & academic life.

Try going to Google and then clicking on the More button, then clicking Translation and type in the website in the translator. Hope this works, but remember you really should be doing school work at school.
