if you would like to try some very old treatments
1- boil some anise and drink it more often - it soothes the chords
2- chew on a raw piece of garlic - instant disinfectent for the throught

don't talk alot, and when you do, don't try to whisper, it actually strains you throat more. The only way to get full recovery is to take the time to heal. You will be singing again in no time!

Try drinking some Throat Coat Tea, found at GNC stores. And try not to use your voice if you don't have to.

Happens to me alot , hot lemonade, if you don't have it make it, lemon juice, water sugar in a microwave. I find honey too thick.

try using war mwater with honey in it! and maybe some salt added! honey and lemons can work also!
