Current = Voltage / Resistance. Each AA battery is ~ 1.5Vdc and in series that would be 1.5 X 4 = 6 Vdc.
6 / 3.2K = 1.875mAmps.

specific, I too, observed that digital mail floating around. It must be a lantern battery from the present cases, reason merely this previous weekend we opened a older lantern battery, ie metallic exterior casing and it did no longer have 32 AA batteries, it had 4 very large ie. D-cellular batteries in it. yet i'm desirous to bypass purchase a plastic cased lantern battery and notice for myself! Now the place did I placed those twine cutters and screw motive force? I basically wish the manufactures don't get wind of this, or we are all sunk. That darn lantern battery will fee $a hundred.00 money. lol
