I am only 9 weeks but I am so excited about my sonogram. Even though my baby looks like a little peanut I still want to show it to everyone. It's my first child. Am I being silly by getting excited about it? I just keep starring at the picture, lol. I can't help it. Anyone else felt this way when you got your first sonogram?

You're aren't being silly, you're just being a proud mother!
I showed my ultrasound picture to everyone, even though my daughter looked just like a lima bean. LOL I kept the picture in my wallet for a while, and then I put it in her baby book and looked at it throughout the pregnancy and imagined what she would look like when born.
Ultrasound images are not just amazing, they are just plain adorable.
Congratulations and enjoy your pregnancy!

You are sooooo not being silly! This is your first baby and you want the whole world to know how excited you are! Show anyone that will give you the time of day and shout it from the roof tops! This is your baby and you have every reason to be excited. I get my first sonogram on the 21st and I can't wait!! This is my second child but I am just as excited this time around as I was last time and you can bet that I will be proudly showing off my little peanut too!

You have every right to be excited! When I got my first sonogram, I wasn't even expecting it, the doctor just asked if I wanted one, and I was about 7-8 weeks. She looked like a little alien but I was on cloud 9 for the rest of the day just looking at her little picture. I even put it in a frame on my dresser and carried a copy in my purse to show everyone. You can't help but be excited about seeing your baby for the first time, that's normal. Actually, it'd be strange if you weren't excited. Congrats =)

I FELT THAT WAY WITH EVERY SONOGRAM and so will you! It only gets worse when they are born because I am now a picture taking fool. Congratulations on the baby! You have so many new and wonderful experiences coming your way for the rest of your life. Enjoy every moment, even the trying ones. They don't stay little forever so make sure you capture every memory you can =) awww I am excited for you. Good luck!
OH BY THE WAY...make sure you make copies of it. If it is printed on thermal paper (that thin, shiny paper) it will fade with time.

At this early stage, pregnancy seems unreal still because you're not big enough to appear pregnant, and you definitely can't feel it moving inside of you... So the sonogram is the only real proof that something so special lies deep inside :) Hearing the heartbeat is just as magical and miraculous as seeing the peanut on the screen!
Congratulations :)

i could touch the government and only tell them you felt uncomfortable and the tech exchange into speaking approximately very own enterprise for the period of your technique. That being reported, and that i'm quite no longer attempting to be rude in any respect, although this is in ordinary terms that, a technique. I, like truthfully everyone else, LOVE ultrasounds and get excited to make certain my infant, even though it somewhat is a medical technique. the purpose of them is to no longer locate out the intercourse, or sneak a peek at your infant, it somewhat is to degree the baby and make specific that the baby is becoming precise and has no abnormalities to confirm there are no problems contained in the transport technique. i could be disillusioned if I have been you. the 1st ultrasound I had the tech does no longer tell me something, does no longer turn the demonstrate for me to make certain, and did no longer even grant any photos in any respect! the 2d (my 20 week test) the tech exchange into friendly and confirmed me what we've been gazing the full time. i could sense jipped if I have been you, yet once you have been to whinge they could probably inform you it somewhat is a technique and not for entertainment. Sorry you had a foul time! you are able to desire to pass get considered one of those cool 3-d ones. you may could desire to pay for it, yet you are able to desire to get some quite cool %. and that they enable you to %. those you elect for, and you will discover the face for sure! congrats and solid success.

Congrats!

That's not silly at all. I am excited every time I get one. Heck, I'm excited just going to the doctor because it's baby-related, even if there's no somogram that time.
