to a friend you are worried about? She quit a high power job and has nothing to pay for her expenses. Her mate left her yesterday and she says she doesn't trust anyone and feels hopeless. I'm really worried she may hurt herself. We live hours apart....what can I do??

if you are that worried -- go get her and keep her with you for a day or too if you are able. get her to talking to someone. it is unhealthy to keep all those emotions bottled up.

something is wrong... You need to contact her family for them to check on her.. since she quit a high power job and her mate left her yesterday... she didn't trust anyone feel hopeless. so need family to check on her and find out what going on with her.. she might have something that she didn't know she have.. so is family.. I do hope you call her parents.. becasue if she get mad at you tell her because you are my friend and I truly care about you.. and things you do right now not you.. and that tells me something is wrong..I want to make sure you are ok and family there for you since i am not be able to be there for you since we are hours apart.

If you can, go to her. Be there for her, even if it is only to listen. Try to convince her to get help. If you do nothing, the guilt will eat at you forever if she succeeds at hurting herself. Tell her how much you care about her & that she does matter! If she's at the point that you are describing then the most important thing you can do is to make sure she goes to get professional help.
