The other posters are correct. Don't make more of this than what it is.

If you see a woman you like very much, look at her, observe her very carefully, based on that ask her some questions...

Make sure she is not in the middle of the conversation with her friends or will be annoyed in some manner (like coming out of a bathroom).

Make eye contact with her for a while and smile. If she rolls her eyes at you or gives you some otherwise signal, don't approach her. If she smiles back, go up to her and say maybe hi, what are you up to today?

Ask her about where she is from, who she is around, etc.

Tell her she is cute or pretty or better, notice something special about her, like if she has nice legs or a thin waist or a nice smile.

You could say, gee your hands look soft, would you mind if a gentleman kissed that soft hand of yours... then take it and kiss it in the romantic, classic way.

But if she seems creeped out by you don't do any of that...

Make sure your breath smells nice and you don't look like you have been out on a bender or something.

Remember, picking up and flirting are all about trial and error. You may not be thinking of it, but there could be girls you meet that YOU won't like either.

If a girl slaps you or rolls her eyes or ignores you just remember that there is another one around the corner.

Women outnumber men and there are always women willing, so just keep at it.

Good luck.

Why do you need pickup lines? Try being yourself and just be natural...you don't need pickup lines to get a girl... they don't work on a lot of girls...Just walk up to her and say 'hello, what's your name?' or 'would you like a drink, I'll buy.' If she's attracted to you she will respond..if not, then on to the next! You do not need a pickup line...she will either be attracted or she wont...simple as that.

"Pick-up line" = cheesey. Period.

Find an activity you enjoy, such as volunteering in the community or participating in a community wide sport... Meet other people who enjoy the same thing. Look to meet someone with whom you have something in common... Then you won't have to fall back on cheesey pick-up lines...

If you need a 'line', you're already out of it. Try being yourself and talking to the woman as if she's a person and not an object that requires a line and maybe you'll have better success.

Try this one: "I have heard that if you have more than 8 drinks, you will become more sober after each one." Or: "I have learned how to check my own prostate. Here, let me show you." Finally, if nothing else will work, you might say: "Don't worry about that white powder floating in your drink, its a new kind of vodka." Good luck !!!

Say nothing. Find a corner both and sit quietly by yourself. It is amazing how many people of the opposite sex (whether you are male or female) will come over to find out why you are sitting all alone.
