You don't say what antivirus program that you use. Suggest that you remove the entire program and reinstall the program to resolve the problem.

If it is free no problems, If purchased just put your key back into the program. Or some purchased programs like what I have does not require to reinsert your key as their servers knows your hardware and system.

Any operating system you run will need AntiVirus, Malware Scanners, and a Firewall to ensure optimum protection. New viruses and spyware are developed every day. Even news agencies learned IE 8 is subjected to unauthorized access with a backdoor recently discovered. Apple is also subjected to viruses. Be sure you install a top notch protector like AVG/Avast/Norton/McAfee.

Just put the disc in and when it's starts up you will most likely get a option to repair or/and reinstall.

If you go to security settings, from start button, control panel, then click on security. I think you might be able to change your settings from there. But not sure why they should have changed them selves, these things happen I suppose.
Or reinstall the disc.

Pffft Scot H stop talking from your but.

It could be that some malware is compramising your security. Reboot your computer with the CD in, press F8 and start from disk. This will mean your computer will be scanned before anything nasty can prevent it.

If you have the disk , reinstall, you can also in some ,contact the maker via Internet and ask them, usually some have a level that you can adjust yourself, have you altered it by mistake.
