I go to the doctor Monday for my 12 week check-up. I heard the baby's heartbeat at 8 weeks with a vaginal ultrasound and the doctor said it was the right size and everything looked good. I am still very nervous about my next check up --seeing as the chances of miscarriage go down at 12 weeks. I still feel kinda sick off and on but so scared something will go wrong. Do others feel this way?

Yes!! I feel the same way. I have my 12 week check-up today, and the appt. I had before this was at 8 weeks and they only took samples on blood, urine, pap smear... I haven't gotten to hear the babies heart beat or anything. I am so anxious, nervous, excited about the appt. today. I hope to god that nothing is wrong. It's hard knowing that people have had tests done that I haven't yet because I don't really know anything yet. I guess I will find out today. Stay positive! Congratulations!

It's natural to be nervous especially if it is your first child. Take courage, if the MD said everything's fine at the last visit and you haven't had anything dramatic crop up since the last check-up then you should be fine. The sickness during pregnancy can last the entire pregnancy. I've had family and friends be sick the whole 9 months and the babies were just fine. The hormonal ups and downs for some cause them to be sick off and on for the entire 9 months. You and baby will be fine.

Everytime I go in for a check up, i get really nervous. Nervous and scared that I might get bad news from the doctor or something. I always hope and pray for the best. it's normal to feel this way. It's part of being a mom or mommy to be. You see how mothers always tend to worry over lil stuff. It's natural.

I think it is natural to worry that something will go wrong, especially when you want everything to be perfect. I certainly did in my first pregnancy and am now worrying over the one I am carrying. I think it is just a mother's instinct. Just remember that stress truly can effect you and the baby and that the best thing you can do is just relax and realize that there is nothing you can do but sit back and grow this baby to the best of your ability.

Welcome to woman hood. I desire I could inform you the special date that you start, nonetheless it simply is not too prolonged, probably 6 months or much less. It is particularly common to start with interval "signs" method earlier than you your period. I could relatively pay money for a few thin liner pads, that means your no longer ruining your undies. And it might be best to wearing both pads or tampons. Actually the best character to talk to is your mom. She has been through it like several people. And with having different siblings shes already needed to have the period speak. If that you'll both get a heating pad, or underneath supervision take a few midol cramp treatment. Overall your entire "indicators are very normal and please don't fear it is going to come quicker than you wish to have. Excellent well fortune. I'm hoping I responded a few fo your questions

It seems that we moms tend to worry about our children from conception on. It is completely normal to be concerned about the well being of you baby. I have to warn you though, once you get past one land mine (i.e first trimester miscarriage) you walk straight up to another ( pre term labor, and so on...). Good luck and know that even though there are risks, the rewards are well worth it in the end.
