need a wheel bearing # so I can use late model 1" axle wheels on early 3/4 axle harley?

would like to put 2005 cast sporty wheels on 82 fxr. my lathe is too small to make a full length bushing to reduce the 1" i.d. 05 bearings to the 3/4" 82 axle, not sure how safe it would be anyway

Take the exact dimension of the bearing you'd like to use.
Inside & outside diamenter and thickness.
Bring it to an automotive transmission warehouse or bearing supply store.
They will look it up in their parts book.
I do it all the time.
The bearings are less expensive and have the same exact part numbers that OEM manufactures sell.
