Can someone help? I have a Bruno scooter wheelchair that I got from my Mother in law. She only used it a few times before passing away and now we are paying for her burial. The family wants to sell the scooter and put the money towards the burial. Since my husband and I handled the arrangements we have to sell the scooter. Everyone in the family has a different price in mind. I figured someone out there should be able to help us agree on a price.
The scooter is in excellent shape, like brand new. It also has a brand new battery.

Depending on the model, I'd say 400-1000 and since it's used don't think you can get the full 1000 retail price for it. List it up on Craigslist.com it's free and easy to do and with a little luck someone will contact you. You can also see the link below for an idea on how much it's worth on the market place and sorry for you loss.

I work with power chairs and scooters all day. You have to remember that almost anyone who really needs one of these can get it paid for through insurance or the state, so there is no real market value for them.

Here in our state, you would be very lucky to get $500 for it, no matter how nice it was. Most of them go for well under $200 and many, many of them are just donated to get rid of them.

Historically, the best way to sell it is to either try a big pawn shop or take out an ad in a shopper's newsletter. You can also see if your states 'Assistive Technologies' division runs a want ads program- that often helps as well.
