I don't want to lose this friend.?

Question

I have a friend who is probably the best kinda friend I could have at this time in my life, we share a great sense of Humor, we have interests in the same things, think in similar ways, we have even done the same thing, thought the same things at the same time without each other Knowing, she makes me laugh so much, and I feel realy comfortable in her company.
then one night we kissed passionatly, it went no further, she had a taxi waiting. I dont believe I would have gone any further than that, but it was a great Kiss.
as far as I know she is not gay but I am.
she flatly denies she Fancy's women, and I almost lost her a friend, we contact each other by email, and have put the matter to bed so to speak, but I feel I cannot face her again, it would truly break my heart to lose her as a friend.
I do regret that Kiss, but at the same time it is unforgetable.
I hope that at some point we will be in each others company again, but I am afraid it may be too uneasy for her, and me.

Who kissed whom - did she kiss you or did you kiss her - there is the answer to the question and the future - if it was her that kissed you then she is not being totally honest with you or herself - if you kissed her then it may just have been one of those things - if that's the case - apologise and both move on from it - put it behind you - not worth losing a friend over

Email her and express your feeling as you have done to us. This may help and you won't be in her face. You never know how she felt about it, she was there doing it, and if it was passionate, she probably liked it too.

But let her know how important her friendship is to you. Put focus on that and not so much the kiss, even though you may discuss it.

you just gonna have to speak to her and clear the air, but who instigated the kiss-out of interest-cos if it was her then i`d be questioning more about whether its friendship she wants or maybe just that little bit more..
