Like the other guy said, ALL pot should be legal in ALL states. I live in Indiana unfortunately, so it's not likely to happen anytime soon in my area. It has happened a few other places, though.
Eight states have passed medicinal marijuana initiatives: Alaska, California, Colorado, Maine, Montana, Nevada, Oregon and Washington. Arizona and California voters approved medical marijuana laws in 1996. Voters in Alaska, Oregon and Washington approved laws in 1998. Voters in Maine approved their medical marijuana initiative in 1999. Voters in Colorado and Nevada approved medical marijuana laws in 2000. Most recently, Montana voters approved a medical marijuana initiative in 2004. District of Columbia voters approved an initiative in 1998 with 69 percent of the vote, but Congress later overrode the law.

Yes, indeed, I think marijuana should be legalized for medical use. My state is Ohio. Many people suffer in agonizing pain day in and day out. The medical community gives out narcotics for pain, why should marijuana be any different. Help the suffering be as comfortable as possible, it is the least we can do for them.

Where I live, the law is a bit interesting. A first offense for smoking marijuana is a $25 ticket. It's less than a parking ticket! We're not legal, but we're pretty lax.

Yes as long as it is done properly. We already know doctors will not perscribe it whilly nilly like many opponents claim they will because part of the Hippocratic oath is not to perscribe drugs to patients who do not need them. I see medically it has a purpose, because it does help termanily ill patients make it through the last few painful days, but I still think it is not necessary for general consumption.

Yes I do think medical marijuana should be legal in all states. While my father was dying of bone cancer it helped him to be able to eat. I dont have any problem with it being legal for all. I would rather be around someone who is stoned than a mean drunk. Rarely do you see someone who is stoned want to fight. All they want to do is eat and laugh.LOL

I live in a state that has already decriminalized possession. I would still like to see a medicinal marijuana law though. It sure would beat having to take addictive and expensive pain pills.

Unfortunately it's illegal on a federal standpoint. And being local law enforcement they have to enforce federal laws as well...which is hypocritical because they wont enforce federal immigration laws.
