Some people support her because she is a woman, and it doesn't matter what her platform is, they just want a woman in the White House.
Others support her because she promises them everything they want, that she will take it from the HAVES and give it to the HAVE NOTS.
I imagine some would like to see what shenanigans Bill will get into, once he has the cache of the WH again.
Other than that......????

Anyone that would vote for Hillary does not understand the ramifications of her being the president. To those people, please open your mind and read between the lines she uses. She honestly would be a huge step closer to the destruction of a free United States as we know it now. She is a crusader for socialism. She believes that the government knows how to use YOUR money best. She feels that she has to right to make everyone rely on the government for necessities so that voter will cast votes in the direction of the candidate who can get them the most free stuff paid for by hard working American citizens. Punish the successful and reward the lazy for votes is her bottom line.
If you want to vote for that, I suggest you discuss it with as many America loving people as possible.

For years we've had Mondales, Dukasis', and Kerrys, all good candidates who let themselves be defined by the opposition. The Republicans came out with lies, swift boat attacks, and inventing Internet hoaxes and won elections with them. Every now and then a candidate like Bill or Hillary Clinton comes along and calls their bs. This drives the neocons crazy. They become so rabid that the democrats win. I don't agree with Hillary on all of the issues but she's electable because she doesn't take that crap.

Honestly?
Some people support her because they liked her husband as President. The Clinton brand name is one of Hillary's greatest assets (acknowledging, of course, that with some people, it is also her biggest liability).
Some people like her because she speaks very strongly about effecting change, and I don't think ANYONE is satisfied with the U.S. the way it is right now - regardless of whose fault you think that is.
Some people like her because they think that having a woman in the Oval Office will offer a different perspective on world politics.
Some people just really like her policies and consider her to be a strong candidate.

There are those people who truly believe in Hillary's campaign promises & agenda; there is also a certain segment of the demographic population that will identify & vote for her because she is a woman & feel that she will be more empathetic to their political, economic & personal concerns. While I can understand this line of thinking, being a rather staunch Conservative myself ,it is NOT the agenda that I personally support! To each his/her own...

so far, she seems to be the most seasoned potential candidate. She knows how the presidency works from Billy's time there and she's a full metal jacketed castironbitch. She may say what her audience wants to hear sometimes but her record is well established on where she stands on various issues. And lastly, if GWB tries to use the "dictator powers" that he approved she'll have no problem dragging his scrawny butt out and tossing him in the rose garden with all the other pricks.

Well first of all, I don't support Hillary Clinton AT ALL! I think she's dishonest, I think she's a liar, and I think she'll spin anything her way to gain support. As for why people might support her?
* Because she's a woman
* Because they supported her husband
* Because they hate Bush and think she's the anti-Bush
* Because she's personable in public
* Because she SEEMS genuine (biggest lie of all)

They just have different views from you....what you see as Socialism, they see as helping Americans...what you see as anti-capitalism, they see as keeping oil companies in check. I am not a Hillary supporter, but do agree with some of her policies. She is leading Guliani 50% to 29% in NY, so the people iof NY seem to be happy with her.

People want to support a possible winner to get favors if she actually wins. I see no chance for her with so much baggage.
