One other way is booting in safe mode with network. To get in safe mode tap F8 when booting you computer. Go to Start – Run - type “iexplore http://www.bitdefender.com/scan8/ie.html ” (with out ”) – Enter (ok)
Do a full system scan. If something is found, delete it, reboot and do the same again.
When that scan does not find anything you reboot again in safe mode with network.
Go to Start – Run – type “iexplore http://www.ewido.com/en “ (with out ”) – Enter (ok) Do a full scan. If you find something, delete it, reboot and do the same again.
When no one of these scanners is showing anything your computer is clean and you can reboot back to normal mode.
*Note do not surf or do anything with your computer during this scans.

Download AVG. It's free and will remove them for you. Otherwise, I'd try to get the exact address of the files. Also, make sure you can view hidden files. In a window click on tools, Folder options, view, and click "Show hidden files and folders". Hope this helps. And be careful, you start messing with the registry and you could loose yer whole OS mistakenly....

Lisa, run what is known as "online scanner", from Kaspersky Russia, rated # 1 in the world for virus detection. Will scan your entire system direct from their server and has no conflict with your own antivirus. As you can only install one antiviurs or you will have conflict. Scan can take upto two hours depending on how many running processes you have and how many progams installed. On completion reboot your pc as the scanner will destroy in real time any viruses found.

You will get auto updates every hour on the hour, plus an excellent background scanner that really works great. AOL, will only ask you for your email so they can send you a free key good for one year. After one year just request a new key. (Remove your own antivirus before installing.

You need 3 apps. All of them are free, so just search the net for them, download and install. Then run them and you should be good to go! 1. Stinger, 2. Adaware and 3. Abexo Free Registry Cleaner. Hope this helps!

Try either an online scanner like Microtrend, or go to http://download.com and get "AVG Free" for free.
If those do not clean them, try http://ccleaner.com and get the free Ccleaner program which has a registry cleaner.
Finally, if all those fail, repost with the actual file or virus names and we can direct you to the specific programs to remove those specific viruses.
