This may be the case that makes or breaks Roger Goodell's legacy as NFL commissioner. If Vick is convicted then for sure he should be suspended, how long is hard to say. (maybe 1 season?) If he doesn't get a stiff suspension, they Goodell might as well just expunge Henry and Pacman's suspensions and run the NFL like old Paul did. Let players do what ever they want.

You and I, the fans, might complain about player conduct, but in the end we're still going to buy tickets, merchandise, watch it on t.v. so we're supporting football. So it really doesn't matter if Goodell cleans up football or not. People are not going to stop watching.

Michael Vick has yet to be convicted therefore any suspension must wait until the case is judicated. He should not be suspended based upon an accusation. Pacman Jones was found guilty in the courts before the commish suspended him. The Commish will dole out a major suspension for the 2008 season if Vick is proven guilty.

IF convicted I think he will be suspended for life from the NFL. That is what he deserves. Two years isn't NEARLY enough if he was the ring leader. I don't believe his claims he didn't know about it. Come on 4 Dog Treadmills were found there, they each cost $1000 from what was being said. So what his cousin just had the money to do this? The guy who was talking to ESPN from the Humane Society said they rarely recover them, and when they do it is usually one or two, he said he hadn't heard of any other case where they found FOUR. If that is true, that it is usually one or two if any, then that would tell you someone with big money was involved. Like someone with a $100 million contract and who is getting $10 million a year.

properly at the start, the NFL had no longer something to do with Mike "scumbag" Vick going to penal complex. So there is not any double common through fact all of those adult adult males are, have been or would be suspended via the NFL for breaking habit regulations. I doubt scumbag Vick will ever have a efficient soccer occupation lower back, unlike he became a fulfillment formerly. And Henry and Jones are remarkable via a thread over the perma ban cliff.

If he is indicted, then Goodell should at least call him into NY to explain. I know you're innocent until proven guilty, but if he brings such bad publicity to the sport then he needs to explain. If he ends up being convicted, which is a long shot based on the current evidence, then his suspension should be quite lengthy, at least a year. Then again, if he's convicted, he might be going to prison anyway. This whole story makes me sick. Clinton Portis' comments a couple of weeks ago didn't help either, saying that it's no big deal. Since when is a felony no big deal?

Vick may be a "thug", but I don't think he should have any sort of suspension. It seems like there's not much going with his case. If he does get convicted, he should be suspended for at least part of the year.

Vick should get his due.... Put him in prison with other felons and let the inmates take care of him....Guess his little brother didn't fall far from the tree that Michael did either.... Rumor has it that inmates treat dog fighting owners like pedophiles in prison... Don't think Mike's scrambling will help him in prison when a big inmate takes it to him right up the middle.. Sit Ubu sit.....Good dog.....

Pacmans should be less. Mick Vicks should be VERY severe. Either ban from NFL or suspend him for a few years without pay

If convicted I think we'll see at least a year, maybe more. Even if he is not convicted I think the league will still suspend him for 8 to 12 games.

Here's the way I look at NFL players and arrests.......these friggin guys make MILLIONS to play football. The least they can do is stay out of trouble! There are TONS of tallented atheletes out there who would die to be doing what they're doing. So if they'd rather go to dog fights, get in bar room brawls, smack their girlfriends or wives or girlfriends AND wives around, do drugs, drive drunk, pee in public places, and get shot by police, then what business do they have earning millions a year to play a sport?
