Yes, and although I will like not to think about it; I may have. God is the only one, who can answer,if I did the right thing, and if I done it, I will need to pay for the wrong choice, I had made, is my responsibility to care that while destiny can be change, we never know, where is up, and where is down, right or left, good or bad, it's all within the conditions been presented to us, as Humans, by what rules, the less humans, and the substances and the matter's, which is by "Cause and Effect". Consciously a/o unconsciously. Isn't good to try to change what we sometimes see, perceived as to be our destiny, because such experience, could perhaps been just an alarm of what was to come to our own Spirit, Soul a/o inert-self in tomorrows future. its hard to rule the possibilities that we may be doing wrong if we change it, or even wrong in trying, changing it! "As I pray for the Dali Lama, that since 1959, exile in India, soon will be taking a new decision due to the inhumane and ignorant attitude been take by the Government of China, that have occupy Tibet since then".<<<>>

Destiny is only destiny if you believe in it. No matter what last minute decision you nake about something, your destiny is to have an outcome that could have been foreseen as destiny, no matter how far you chase the thought down a rabbit hole so to speak. So if you don't chase the chain of thought about every possible outcome being pre-destined, then the only possibility is eventuality - a moment or series of moments that pass silently or without fuss and therefore, we can truly attain the things that are worth making a fuss of, such as personal targets and goals.

Under the doctrine of absolute pre-determination, society cannot hold us responsible if we decide to get drunk and our actions result in an automobile accident. Such incidents would have been part of a chain of causality that originated with the beginning of the universe. If we have no Free Will, there can be no responsibility and no punishments. Society could not exist.
The speculation that we have no free will defies common sense and our everyday experience of life. With the intervention of free will, our future, and thus the future of the universe, will follow a path different from the path it would have pursued without our intervention.
In addition to scientific considerations, common sense insists that Free Will exists. Who would deny that we have Free Will when we put one foot in front of the other and decide, of our own volition, of our own Free Will, to go for a walk or not go for a walk this afternoon? It is clearly irrational to believe that a chain of causality (pre-determination) at the time of the Big Bang determines if we go for a walk this afternoon, or not.

No, not in any way. I firmly believe in free-will....choice......
Destiny is defined as: A predetermined course of events considered as something beyond human power or control: that would make destiny something beyond the ability of a person to change.

I do not believe in destiny....I think that the actions we take affect our lives and their outcomes. Destiny cannot be used as an excuse for problems in life or why things happen the way they did. It's important to take your own initiative in life and be independent .....
It's true that people around us and other things could affect it slightly, but I think overall it's our actions. Good luck with your life and make good desicions =)

Yes I do. Like an animal tethered to a pole, we can move around only that much (and that is called free will). The rest is destiny.

no i don't believe in destiny. But even if I did, i would argue that one cannot change their destiny - I think one of the defining characteristics of destiny is that it IS what happens; you cannot escaper your destiny

yes i believe in destiny but i don't think that you can change it on your own... others can have an influence on it... on you....
e.g.
i am gay... my mother thinks that i a going to marry a guy.... i am scared to tell her the truth.. so i guess that if i won't tell her soon she will be the one who will change my destiny....
God has a different plan for all of us.. =)...

My mother used to tell me that there was a pattern to life, & I thought she was being boring. But now I think she's right. The Chinese & Western astrologers can map out the pattern of a person's life from the moment of birth. Of course we can make choices & choose paths, but they will be the ones we would have taken anyway.

I used to be a boozing, heavy smoking, womanising, scrapping guy until i became a Christian......I thought being a Christian would be boring but on the contrary it is fun....I actually like me now too which is a definite improvement in my life as I never like me much before and had always felt a sort of emptiness....which has now been filled.
Best wishes, Mike.
